Open Question: Help with finding the Title?

World War 2 fiction. A boy joined the navy when he was either 17 or had just turned 18 went to boot camp at camp Farragut naval station in Idaho. I believe while in boot camp some one got shot but not sure. Went to electrician’s mate “A” school where a pal of his married a hooker. They tried to tell the pal once a hooker always hooker. Served on a boat in the pacific, received liberty on Mog Mog Island. His division mates made a batch of bath tub gin. On Mog Mog they received 2 beer chits and 2 soda chits since he look so young he was tasked to trade the beer chits. He told the people that he was trading with that he promised his mom that he would not drink. After his division was drunk as well as the other liberty goers there was a big battle. He was transferred to another boat that got hit and was sent to San Francisco to dry dock. While there he stopped a Gunners mate from shooting a bar with the deck guns because he was tuned down by a bar girl. After dry dock they got below way for the Aleutian Islands in Alaska where a boat mate got frost bite and the kid was telling then that they always used bear grease to keep the hand. Having no bear grease they use bacon grease and do end up saving the hand/fingers/toes (not sure which) The boat heads back to the south pacific where again they receive liberty on Mog Mog Island the petty officer passing out the beer & soda chits remembers him and asks if there is going to be any trouble like last time, also slides him extra chits telling him it was the most sun he had in a long time At the end of the war they are able to break light security and smoke out on deck. His boat also pulls into Tokio Bay for the signing of surrender. After he is discharged he goes home and from town he gets a ride to his home from the mailman. And the last sentence I believe is: ma set another dish for dinner the kid is home. Heck I could write the book just mot able to name it or the author

I would say Coors Cutter and O'Douls Amber tied for first, with Miller's Sharps after that. Everything else is relatively mediocre, with regular O'Doul's being the worst (never tried Old Milwaukee NA, not sure of the point of that). (I'd adore to receive my hands on some fresh Zlaty Bazant/Golden Pheasant NA).

A girl I have been talking with for a little over a month and gone out a few times is now playing difficult to receive, how do I beat her at the game and gain her approval to move to the next level? Any help is greatly appreciated. A little info: last night was our third date and when I met up at the bar she was already having fun if you know what I mean LOL and was every over the place having a good time. I had a few beers and left around 12 and told her pal she was with to say bye since she was mingling with others (every good since we are not an item as of yet - dont want to be clingy) anyways approx. 20 minutes later I receive a call from her girlfriend - that they are leaving and the girl I am interested in was upset that I left and wanted me to know that she is interested and wants me to step up my game with her. I need to know how to do this, been out of the dating scene for a long while. So I called her today around 2pm and she did not answer, left message. She called me back around 730 pm and said she was out with the girls - so I did not ask her since it did not seem like the right time. We both told each other to have a good night. Open Question: receptionist lying about me staring at her underwear and wife made and me no clue wtf?

Well, I have been taking my wife to a beauty spa these last two weeks. She is getting a treatment for her face which is about 12 sessions, so we have been going daily. Anyway, today we went in as normal and i waited in the waiting area as usual. When my wife came out she gave me a look and told me to receive up and that she would wanted to talk to me at home.... on the way she was telling me she was embarrassed of going out with me and that i am a good for nothing jerk ect..... At home i found out that the lady who does my wife's treatment told my wife that while i wait in waiting area i have been staring at the secretary's short mini and her underwear, which is completely untrue. Now, i do not know if that is what the lady told my wife during her session, since my wife does make things big because she is very jealous and insecure. Anyway, if what my wife says its true, I am guessing that the secretary commented something to my wife's doctor, or what er she is called, and the lady told my wife something. Here is the thing I was in the waiting area with my new born baby, and i was watching him and there was another women with her kid crying for a soda. I was looking at him since he was obviously badly educated. I do not know if she got the impression cap i was looking at her. My seat was not even facing the main desk. Anyway, i was never staring at this lady, so i plan to go tomorrow and talk to their boss and confront them on why they would say something like that to my wife. I am pissed since they assumed the worst, and did not take into consideration the waiting room and the other people waiting. Also that they would go ahead and tell my wife, or commenting something. How should i handle this? my wife is jealous even if a commercial has any girl with a bikini and i am watching. Right now she wont even talk to me and like always never takes my side and listens to others. She was in a bad relationship where she was cheated. I have not, but i feel i am paying for what other did to her. How should i handle this, and how should i confront those two Lady's. Additional Details My wife tells me that the lady doing ehr face said that the secretary left the room because of me. That i was staring at her underwear, which you oculd not look because of the desk. According to my wife, the secretary went upstairs bc i was staring at the underwear and that the secretary told the doctor this or soem crap. I am starting to think it is a test, because the day before she got mad because there was a girl in a bikini in a beer commercial, which i am not allowed to watch because of "respect". Could be that, or the lady commented something, but not what my wife is saying. I just know i did not do those things, and plan to go tomorrow and look what the hell is up.

But with the WWE Sheep constantly following Vince McMahon's bullcrap what else do you expect? Is this the state of wrestling that exists today? Has sotrylines leading to great matches gone out the window in replace of the era of gust hosts and midgets? Is that what people rather watch? Really I wasn't expecting TNA to magically tug a 2.0 out of nowhere but a 1.0 , you have to be kidding me! What else does TNA have to do? Did anyone not look the knockouts tag match? How did you not look the X Division triple threat? Really was Criss Angel pulling thread out of his eye more entertaining than an X Division match? What has pro wrestling become now? Can someone please tell me? I don't receive it. IMO the only really big miss TNA had last night was Jarrett and Beer Money. Everything else went well. And Hogan and Flair definitely wasn't the best but they still did well with their age and health and what not. It's silly how people condemn that matc but look at what WWE has at Mania freaking Bret Hart and McMahon! This match is the match where Bret dies! Are freaking stroke patient in a ring? Is that what gets you guys excited? I'm not saying Hogan and Flair was good but let's receive realistic here. I don't know what else TNA has to do! Really you're in denial if you say WWE was better! Open Question: Negetive Pregnant test but have a lot a symtoms. Please read im confused.?

I dont understand why my body is acting so weird...Ive was on the depo shot since April 08 to april 09 (that was my last shot) I was supose to renew in july 09 I didnt bc I planned on trying for baby # 2 but I never got my period so in January 10 i went to my Dr. he gave me the pregestone shot he said it would make receive a period so then i can ovulate he said it would be yucky and heavy but I got it on the 5th of Feb and I spotted for 1 day..then I took ovulation test the 19 through the 22 and of course had intercorse during those days I havnt has my period yet but thats to be expected bc i never had one since i started the depo but now by breast hurt i was vomiting yesterdayhad weird cravings urinating more ive been sleepy my body hurts and have had increasing amout of gas and im wondering that it this is bc of the shot or if I may be pregnant its just to early to find out but i figured its to early to have symptoms anyway so im confused when i had my son the only way i knew is bc my bf thought i was and i took i drink of beer and i puked so i took a test and it was positive plus i always wanted pickles (which has been one of my cravings actually) What do you think

Open Question: Dry cough for 5 weeks?

My sister has had a dry cough for 5 weeks. It's horrible, noisy, and is physically painful for her. She has already gone to the doctor (more specifically, Urgent Care) and was told that it was an upper respiratory virus that will last until Spring. The doctor told her to buy any nice of losenge that she liked, eg. root beer, butterscotch.. No prescription, nothing. Obviously, it's not working. She's losing her mind and I feel so bad for her I don't know what to do! I've tried making her go back to Urgent Care but she said she wouldn't be able to handle having someone tell her to sit and wait for another two weeks or so. ANY advice? PLEASE. I tried talking her into taking Clariton but she said because it doesn't have a cough suppressant, it isn't worth it.

Open Question: how does my short story sound so far?

As I tugged my luggage across the airport, I thought of the nightmare that lay ahead of me. You’d probably think a vacation to Mexico would be something I’d look forward to. I’m sure I would have with anyone else, except my family; the MacDonald’s. They were embarrassing in every situation, and a whole week with them would surely prove to be a disaster. Following a few meters behind, so I wouldn’t be associated with them, I could hardly stand the walking any longer. After waking up at 5 am, and taking the half hour long steer to the airport, I couldn’t wait to just receive our seats on the plane already. If only it were that easy... Everything should have gone smoothly. We should have boarded our flight, and arrived in Mexico a few hours ago. By now, I should have been laying out on a hot, sunny beach somewhere. Instead, I was in the Toronto airport, blended in with the heap of bags surrounding me. Our flight had been delayed until tomorrow night. Apparently a sudden hurricane had hit Mexico, and it wasn’t safe. But to top it off, my family was trying to brighten the mood by singing campfire songs and trying to receive me to join in. “99 bottles of beer on the wall, 99 bottles of beer! You take one down, pass it around, 98 bottles of beer on the wall!” “arrive on, join in Lindsay! It’s fun,” said my Mom, thoughtfully. “No, really... I think I’ll just try to snooze for a bit,” So as I was lying on a bench, my main focus was to not move. I must have drifted off for a bit though because when I opened my eyes, my family was every asleep too. Fellow travellers were walking around, catching planes, and acting like it wasn’t about 3 in the morning. Realizing they were every able to look me in my half-asleep daze, I tried to sit up. At halfway there, I felt a big pain in my back from sleeping on the difficult surface, so I gave up and went back to ‘bed’. its not done, so the other things that are going to happen are: lindsay is going to discover that she needs her family, and they do what they do because they adore her. eventually, when the plane comes, shes actually really excited to go. so how can i make what i have better, and also what could i do for my climax? i need to have one thanks

There is this phone Tech guy that came to fix the phone. I chatted with him a bit on the problem for a short bit. I then came back out to chat some more and gave him a can of Pepsi. Open Question: why won't my headache go away?

hey everyone...I've had a headache for some time now and cannot receive it to go away. I've never had migranes or anything like that. I'll take a few aspirin and it will go away then arrive right back. sleeping it off won't work and it's really starting to bother me. I'm at the beach now and it's been happening since i've been here. I do rub snuff, and have been for about 3 years, trying to quit. i've been on a ketogenic diet for about 2 months as this is the first time i haven't been on it other than my weekly 24 hour carb ups. Also, I take numerous supplements such as a protein powder, a multi vitamin, and an NO product, Gaspari Superpump 250 and Dymatize expand to be specific. could my body be going through withdrawal from the lack of supplements, or be reacting adversely to the heightened amount of carbs i've been eating. Also, could cronic headaches be a symptom of the onset of cancer if i don't have any other symptoms (being a snuff user that has always been a concern, which is why i'm trying to quit) But pretty much i go to bed witha headache, and I wake up with one, and cannot receive rid of it. Also, for what it's worth, I'm not a big beer drinker, but since i've been at the beach I've had a few each night. Do any of you have any ideas of what can cause this? The pain feels like it's toward the back of my head and the top in the middle part (sorry for the non technical terms) but if anyone could give me some advice it would be greatly appreciated!

Open Question: Drinking Beer With Urinary Tract Infection?

It's not full blown. I went to the doctor and he said it's just my bladder is slightly irritated and it's very early stages of an infection, and he prescribed me antibiotics but only to take them if this over the counter powder doesnt work. I promised to go out for a few drinks with a pal tonight. I'd say that will include 3-5 pints of beer. Would this further hurt my UTI?

Open Question: How much of your daily caloric intake can be replaced with alcohol?

I just turned 21, and I have been on a 2,500 calorie a day diet. I've been maintaining my weight perfectly, so I don't want to increase my calories now that I turned 21. I'd like to probably adjust my intake to roughly 75% alcohol related calories and 25% food related calories. This would allow me 1,875 calories to be associated with various beers and liquors, but I'm not sure if I even need a full 625 calories dedicated to food. Can I reduce this anymore, or should I just keep it where it is?

Open Question: Ive found some beers in my car and theres been some real hot days are they off or cani put them in the fridge?

I found a couple of beers in my car who knows how long theyve been there and theres been some real hot days in Perth, Australia in the last few days, over 35 degrees C so who knows what the temp is inside. I wouldnt drink them warm but i know the poms drink it warm but not boiling, so will the beers poison me or somthing lol? Cheers for any help, dont want to waste money on more.

Open Question: is my ex confusing me?

i dated this guy for over a year but we almost made it offical but he joined the frat and he clip everything off. I went back for him and he refused and then he got himself a girlfriend (we didn;t talk for 4 months and how can he got over me so quickly?) he told me that hes depressed and wants to be friends but I can't do that. i was pretty upset and got depressed. so everything i look this girl (this girl is from a soriotory). I look down on myself. and afterwards, we had a little party, he came without his gf and he wouldn't look or say hi to me and then later i started to take pictures and he told me not to post any pictures online and i heard him and said "im not" so we played a little beer pong, he missed and pointed at me and said "why did you look at me?" and i just gave him my palm and said "talk to the hand!" I mean, he tries to act nice when ppl is around but when I'm with him alone, he acts so mean. I overheard his convo with my pal saying that his current g/f is a stuck up but my roommate have been telling me that they are getting closer. do you think he still likes me or uses her as a rebound? i'm so confused or hes trying to be friends, but how can you be friends with someone so quickly??

Open Question: Will CPS take my son away because I tested positive for marijuana?

My son and I were at my boyfriend's home bbqing and drinking beer. My son was playing with his son. It was a beautiful day. Suddenly, his exwife showed up with her new baby (by her new bf). An hour later, CPS showed up looking for her and wanted to take her kids away. They took her new baby and the other child (who had been there with his daddy for a month). I didn't leave (although I should have). I stayed because he was upset and needed my support. It didn't have anything to do with me and my son so I thought nothing of it. Later that night, CPS came back wanting to question me because they had seen me drinking around my son. A few days later, they made a surprise visit to my home to investigate. I live in a brand new home with my parents. My son is healthy, glad, and smart. The only problem is, I smoked a joint the day before (which, btw is not something I normally do. I don't even like it.) And I did not smoke it around my son or go home until I was no longer stoned. Well, CPS asked me if I used drugs and I told them no, so they broke out a saliva drug test and made me do it. Its gonna be positive for marijuana, I already know. But there were no other problems in my household. No beer cans outside..lots of food in the pantry. The place is clean.. Are they gonna take my son? Just because I smoked a joint one time? I live in TX btw. And no, there is not "more to this story". every details are included. And for the record, I am of legal drinking age.

Open Question: Would a chocolate fountain be a good replacement for the sit down dessert at my wedding?

If I receive the chocolate fountain, it will keep me about $200 as apposed to having the sit down dessert of parfait, fresh berries, ice cream, or sorbet. Or, I could do 2 chocolate fountains (milk chocolate & white chocolate) for the same price. The chocolate fountain would arrive with my choice of strawberries, bananas, cookies, cream puffs, pound cake, marshino cherries, etc. Does this sound like a good idea? Also, would the chocolate fountain arrive before or after the cake? I was thinking during dancing? It's a 3 hour rental. Anyways, if I pick this, the food at my reception would consist of: 3 tray passed hors doeuvres (coconut shrimp, beef satay, and crab rangoons) salad of my choice new york steak OR salmon, with a starch and 2 vegetables wedding cake chocolate fountain Also, we are having hosted bar for the whole event; but we are only paying for premium & domestic beers, wine, soda, and fruit punch. No mixed drinks or shots. Nothing with difficult liquor.
